The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.

If you have a scheduled appointment or other business at the MTF, please verify with your provider or applicable office within the MTF to ensure there are no changes in schedule. To learn how the lapse in appropriations affects your TRICARE benefit, visit www.tricare.mil/shutdown

Release of Information (ROI)

All record requests are processed daily and prioritized according to patient care requirements. We process immediate requests for retiring or separating active duty service members and continuity of care requests. Primary care manager teams and/or referring military treatment facility providers are responsible for ensuring that a patient has copies of any necessary paperwork from the outpatient/dental records to ensure adequate medical reference and continuity of care between the MTF, external provider and/or civilian medical facility. All copy requests are processed according to the date received and completed within 30 days of receipt.

To submit a record request, please either send your completed DD form 2870 to Outpatient Records Department organization box or stop in the TRICARE Operations and Patient Administration building for further assistance.
