Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Treatment (ADAPT)

The ADAPT program provides a full range of prevention education, outreach, evaluation, brief counseling, treatment, and aftercare services to military members. These treatment services include: individual and group counseling, and outpatient, intensive outpatient, and inpatient treatment. The ADAPT program has a licensed clinical social worker or psychologist, certified alcohol and drug counselors, and technicians on staff to deliver top-quality treatment and prevention education services. Intensive outpatient treatment, inpatient treatment, and withdrawal management services are delivered by our off-base local-area TRICARE network providers. Family members of active duty personnel should contact TRICARE Humana East to obtain substance use evaluation, counseling and treatment services. Also, the ADAPT Program provides a substance use evaluation and treatment-referral appointment to Department of Defense civilian employees. Additionally, we provide prevention education and outreach services such as briefings, trainings, DUI Simulator with Group-guided Discussions, awareness and informational displays and educational booths.
